Pen Pals!
We got our letters today from our pen pals in Mrs. Goodwin's 5th grade class from Leipzig, Germany! We are so excited! We can't wait to write back to them and hear what they have to say. We would like to share with you what our letters from them were about!
My pen pal is a girl named Elisabeth. She speaks 3 languages German,English and a bit French. She loves to ride horses, hang out with freinds and watch her fish in her fishtank. I will enjoy writing with my pen pal in Germany!

Ok first of all my penpal was Yalin but she said to call her Jalin. Hre favorite sports werearchery and softball.The colors that she liked were green and yellow.She asked me quistions like do you have a sister and how old are you and what is the whether was like and what are your favorite colors and stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteTODAY WE GOT ARE PIN PALS LETTERS!I got a person that was named ELENA she seems very nice.We are going to write back to them tomorrow it is going to be so fun.The letters are from GERMANy.Are teacher know someone from there that is a teacher that moved there last year.That was here last year a teacher.She teaches 5TH grade.It is so fun to have a pin pal i hope you have one to.
ReplyDeleteMy pen pal was born in Germany she is ten years old. She likes to draw. One thing she asked me was how is Kentecky my answer would have to be it's a great place! She spelled every thing how we would spell it. When I read the letter I saw something it was all correct grammer. She asked me what my favorite color was and its a dark red. Another thing she likes is to write short stoys and letters. She like pizza. That was another thing she asked me is what do I like to eat. My answer is pie and cookies! Thats all for now. =)

ReplyDeleteToday i got a letter from my pen pal! I got to learn a lot of things about her. She can speak 4 different languages. I think that is really cool. Her name is Eve, her birthday is in December and she loves to color and draw. I think that is cool because i love to color and draw too. I also think it was cool when they wrote us back. My teacher said it didn't take the letters long to get here. Oh yeah; they are from Germany. About a month ago they sent a class picture to us and now we have it hanging up on our wall in the classroom. In a madder of fact Ms. Manoni said that they were looking at the blog also. Well, their whole class wrote us letters and now we have pen pals!!!!!
My name is Irene L, The letters was about when well they told us about there favorite hobbies and there favorite colors that they like. ReplyDeleteMy pen pals name is Joshua.He came from Texas.he speaks english,and a bit of french.He also asked me questions like whats your name? where did you come from? and they want us to send pictures of us as a class.I think that it will be fun writing back to them.
Today we got our letters from Germany, and we read them, and the one I read with my partner is from Joshua he asked me and my partner like does it snow allot over here, and he said it snows all the time down in Germany, and he also wanted to know our names then he said he he wanted to like down here to see what it is like.

ReplyDeleteOur class got letters from germany! it was relly exiting when mrs.manoni brung them in.I was so hiper when the letters came i was wateing for them to come for a long time.Mrs.Manoni looked exited to when she came in with the letters.Some of the kids had to send more than 2 letters cause there is only 17 people in Mrs.Ashleys class.(she is the teacher in germany)

ReplyDeleteI am exsited about being pen pals with mrs.goodwins class.There letters where interesting because they asked alout of questions like, Are you a boy or a girl and what is your favorite color.and that is what i like about there class because they dont ask about socail studies or math or any thing like that so that is al i have for now bye.
