Yesterday, we talked briefly about what it would be like to be a slave during colonization. Many slaves worked their whole lifes under terrible circumstances. We also talked about what it would be like to be a colonist trying to survive through first winters and deciding where to live. Share your thoughts on these topics using at least 7 sentences.
To me it would be teribble to be a slave during the winter because you would freeze to death and you would have to work for hours and hours.It would also be very hard you could die out their in the freezeing cold. Also you don't even get paid, you would have to work for some food.If you ecsape they will hunt you down and bring you back to work, and when you got back they would hit,burn stuff like that, to you when you got back .
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to be a slave in the winter because if you did not dress warmly then you would not be able to surive. It would also be hard because you don't get paid and you are never free.In the summer it would be hard because you only 15 minutes break.

If it was me it would stink because slaves worked intill they passed,they got away, or they let the slaves go. If they were cought by there master or some one else who turned them in. Then they were wiped or whatever there master wanted to do to them. Each year they were given two sets of colthes summer and winter if that was me it would not be so good because if you had to work on a farm then there colthes would get dirty fast and those are those are there only colthes they got for all year. Slaves were mistreated alot and they got no kindness from any one but other slaves.
ReplyDeleteIrene.l and I think in the winter it will be bad becouse i could die becouse it is cold. i also think it will be bad becouse in the summer you will be really hot and thirsty and you can die with out water. The last thing is that when you are in the bottem of the boat in the small room you can die that is why it will be bad if you are colonial person.

We saw a movie and in that movie i said alot of stuff about what they did to the slaves .One thing they did was they put 600people on a ship that only holds 300,so you would only get just enough room for yourself.they also fore feed them. A man was in the place they were in for 15 min and he could bearly get out and then he became very sick.They would also frese to death but it wouldn't make a big deal most of they wanted to die.

ReplyDeleteI think it would be horrible to be a slave because they would be tourmenting you. I also think it would be hard 5o be a slave because they can't do anything else except do things for their master. I also think it would be hard to be a colonist because they had to build every thing.
It would be hard to be a slave because it be hard work and barley getting any food and warmth.so it would be hard to live as a slave in the winter and summer.

ReplyDeleteI think it would be so horrible to be a slave you would have to work for eople that would suck and no free time to go places I could not be a slave that would be the most horrible thing in the whole world I would not want to be slave because I don't like to clean my own house what makes you think I will clean somebody elses house for them.And to be a colonist I think I could be one of those but I could not stand the winter at all and nothing to eat. But I would like to hunt. I like hunting for food I think it would be cinda cool because i like to hunt.
