"The Winter Room"
In our enrichment class, we are reading "The Winter Room" by Gary Paulsen. Students, what do you think of the book so far? Who are the main characters? What is the setting? Tell a little bit about the book. Write at least 5 sentences!
The main characters are the little girl (it doesn't say her name, not that i know of)and Wayne. What do I think of the book so far?? Well, let me start off saying I love it! The setting is like a farm and and inside their house! Oh, and it isn't from this time it was "back then". I hope all you guys read it and it is a great book.(:

ReplyDeleteThe main charecters are Wayne and a little girl. The setting is on a farm mostly. and i absolutly love the book!!! It has so much details, like when every night in the winter they go into teh winter room(living room) and they're mother knits something and they're father carves and they say that the light yellow glow makes it kinda look like honey.

I think the book is very interesting and really good.The setting is at their house and on thier farm in 1921.THe book tells you what they do in every season.Please read the book.

ReplyDeleteThe book "The Winter Room" came from the time period of 1920's. I don't mean when the book was published I mean the time peiod the author wanted the book to take place. The main characters are Whane and his older brother. Whane's older brother is the one telling the story. It is an okay book. The reason it is called "The Winter Room" is because in the winter they have a room that they go in to keep them warm. That is why they call it the winter room. The author of this book is Gary Paulsen.
