STEM Careers

STEM Club Presentations

STEM Club Students- What IS STEM?  Do some research using the websites below and any others that you might find on careers that are part of the STEM field.

1) Decide on ONE STEM related career, write it on the board and post it as a comment so others know it is "taken."
2) Using the websites below and any others you might find, research your career.  How much money does it earn?  What education do you need?  What will your daily work be like?  and much more...
3) Develop a presentation of your choice (PowerPoint, Prezi, interview, monologue, etc) to teach the rest of the STEM Club members about your job (who knows, they may want to do it some day after hearing your presentation!)

** Remember to be creative!  SELL your job!  Choose one that you are interested in!

Answer the following post ON THE CNN BLOG:

Encapsulating your generation

An unearthed time capsule could give people in Christchurch, New Zealand a portal to learn what life in their city was like more than 100 years ago.

It got us thinking: if you were building a time capsule to represent your generation, what would you include? What one item or artifact would best describe the time you live in to people in the future?
