Symbols
In Social Studies, we are learning about symbolism. What is your favorite U.S. symbol? What does it mean? Why is it important to you and our country? Write at least five sentences.
my favorite seal is the statue of liberty.the statue of liberty stands for freedom. it is important because they built it for the hundredth year of the united states of America. the statue of liberty now stands in new york. lots of people visit it every day. they say a grown man is the length of the statue of liberty's nose.
My favoite symbol is the American flag. The American flag is freedom or liberty.It has thirteen stripes stands for thirteen colnies. The fifty stars stand for fifty states. The red stripes stand for couarage. THE white stripes stand for justice. The blue I am not sure yet. I keep on forgeting it. It is inportant to our country because it stands for freedom and liberty. for some reson I like the flag as my favorite one and maybe many more poeple's favorite.Mrs preis taught me that in socail studies.

Also there are 3 different colors, red, white and blue. Blue stands for justice, red stands for courage and white stands for loyalty.
