This week, we have been learning about the 6 Kentucky regions- Bluegrass, Eastern Mountains and Coalfields, Western Coalfields, Knobs, Pennyroyal, and Jackson Purchase. Practice your persuasive skills, and try to "sell" one of the regions. Make someone want to visit the region, and tell them SPECIFIC things about the region that might attract their attention. Pay attention to your audience! Write at least 6 sentences.

ReplyDeleteDid you know that the Eatern Coalfeilds has the Grand Canyon.m I'm sure you are sitting on the couch being a couch potato. Well are you? If you are you should get up an dstart packing, But wait, listen, there is also the Cumberland Falls. I hear there is also some moonbows there! They are like rainbows but in the middle of the year therre is a moonbow, they come at night. Also there is the Black Mountians. They are very pretty. The bodies of water there are the Red River and the Ohio River. One of the landforms there is the Appalachain Mountians. They are part of the Black Mountians. There is also Cumberland Gap. Some of the jobs there are coal mining, farming,strip mining and deep mining. Well since i made you wait to go pack up, go now!! So come on down to the Eastern Coal feilds. Bye

ReplyDeleteI am going to try to sell you the Eastern Coalfields. Something interesting about this region is that it has is that if there is a full moon there will be a moonbow. Something else interesting is that the Eastern Coalfields has the Red river gorge.The Red river gorge is like the Grand canyon in the East. The Eastern Coalfields has the cumberland gap,the Cumberland mountains and the black mountains. As you can see the Eastern Coalfields are really interesting.

ReplyDeletei am going to tell you why you need to come to bluegrass.Bluegrass has wonderful things in the reigon.In fact the bluegrass reigon has the famous kentucky derby every year.This event happens in louisville,kentucky.The bluegrass reigon has half of kentuckys citizens in their reigon.Since the bluegrass reigon has the kentucky derby they have to have horses to do this event,so the bluegrass reigon has thourghobred horses.tese are just some of the facts about the bluegrass reigon.

ReplyDeleteHow about you buy the "Jackson Purchase" region.You should buy this region because it has flat land and the lowest land elevation in the state.You should also buy this land because it has the ohio river the missippi river and that means no drouts.It also it the only part of ky that grows cotton so have a great time in "Jackson Purchase" See you in a couple days!

ReplyDeleteI know you don't think that other regions in the united states are cool because you love your region, Well, have you ever thought about coming to the Bluegrass region, if you haven't then you need to listen very closely to this message. The Bluegrass region's landforms are very calm and relaxing, the bluegrass region has gently rolling hills, large areas of rocks but only a few of them. The bluegrass region is near the Ohio river of the Northearn boarder and is near the KY river. Bluegrass has amazing natural resourses like rich soil props, animals, limestone,and many many more. The bluegrass has a ton of jobs here the eould pay you the minum of 2000 dallars like farming, industries,horse industries,and more. If you don't think this is cool then do not come but it is amazing here. so long for now.

The Bluegrass region has the most amazing landforms. The bluegrass resion has some gently rolling hills and some large areas of rock's but only a few. The bodies of water is the Kentucky river and the Ohio river forms the Northern border. If I have not got you to that point then read on. The natural resorces are animals, rich soil, lime stone, and horses. The bluegrass's jobs are farming, and horse industry. So did you get to where Iwant you to be? GOOD! Well buy the bluegrass region!!!!!
